A disappointing loss to Proctor in the Sectionals (4-1), can't take away a fine season by the Black Knights. RFA won the CNYCL National Division with a 10-2 record. Many players contributted to the Cahmpioship year. Kyle Richardson and Garrett Baker paced the offense with .431 and .422 batting averages. Rocco DeBlasiis was a solid .380 while leading the team in RBI'S 18. Baker and Richardson posted 6-3 and 4-2 records on the mound,with 2.02 and 2.17 era's. Mark Capponi and Mike Stevens had 3 and 2 win seasons from the mound. Capponi also had 2 saves. Tri -Capt. Josh Seaton returned from the injury list to hit .333. Ryan Harris will be missed from the outfield along with fellow seniors Kal Campbell and Ryan Popovich. Nine returners will hopefully be the nucleous to another successful run in 2009.

| RFA concluded it's regular season with a 8-1 win over Proctor. Kyle Richardson picked up his 4th win on the year. He scattered 6 hits while striking out 10. Mark Capponi had two hits and 2 RBI's and Zach Ciccotti had 3 RBI's. .... Visit Coach Davis Article |
